Lokono is a Black woman-owned platform dedicated to the independent author community. We believe in the power of stories and the importance of building spaces where Black and Native voices are not only heard but celebrated and uplifted.
Our commitment is built on a foundation of anti-Blackness and open access. We are committed to providing a dignified, editorial catalog structure that allows authors to reach readers directly, without the barriers of platforms that weren't built with them in mind.
